Hit the ski runs of Italy for £180 less than usual with this knockout deal from Skitracer.com. For £349 per person, spend a week in Sestriere, Turin, with a tidy package of extras.
Here's what's included in the deal:
The Hotel Biancaneve is a 5-minute walk from the centre of Sestriere. It has two bars and a restaurant that serves traditional Italian cuisine. Guests can choose the first and second course of the 4-course dinner each day. Afternoon tea (including homemade pastries) is served from 4pm-6pm.
The hotel's facilities include a sauna, a massage room, satellite TV in each room and Wi-Fi access throughout. The closest ski lift is 200m from the hotel. The Milky Way -- one of Italy's most famous ski areas -- is 400m from the hotel. A free shuttle service runs until midnight, taking guests to the centre of Sestriere and the resort's main ski lifts.
Snow Magazine notes that in Sestriere, "snow cover is guaranteed thanks to both altitude and one of the world's most extensive snow-making operations". The resort has played host to a number of different sporting competitions over the years -- most recently hosting the 20th Winter Olympics in 2006.
