A winter holiday in a cosy log cabin in Lapland has just been dropped to £299 per person -- a saving of up to 50% on the usual price.

This festive break includes return flights and seven nights’ accommodation in the 4-star Yllas Log Cabins, Lapland. These modern cabins are dotted around the woods, about 200m from the ski bus stop. There is excellent cross-country ski access from outside the front door, and guests will get free snowshoe and cross-country ski rental. Thermal suits and boots are also included free on departures between 8 January-15 April**.

Prices are based on four or five sharing a self-catering cabin*** with a mezzanine floor, an open-plan kitchen and living area, plus a sauna and a cosy fireplace. 

Flights depart from London Gatwick, Bristol or Manchester on 4, 11 December and 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 January. For an extra £50 per person, a 6-night version of the holiday is available for travel over New Year's Eve and departs on 26 December. Travel on 18 December is an extra £100 per person and comes with a free eighth night.

Transfers from the airport to resort are included.

Three-share supplements start at £45 per person, per week, and 2-share supplements start at £133 per person, per week (exact supplement can vary depending on the type of cabin). Upgrades to half board are available from £22.50 per person, per night.

The Yllas Log Cabins offer unspoilt natural scenery close to Finland’s longest ski slopes, with an excellent network of cross-country trails.
