We found a bargain deal with Iglu Ski to the popular French resort of La Plagne: £179 per person for return flights, transfers and seven nights' accommodation. Other companies are selling the same holiday for £407.

The deal is based on four adults sharing a self-catering apartment at Résidence Maeva Plagne Lauze, 300m from the nearest chairlift. Travel is from London Stansted, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, London Gatwick, Manchester, Southampton, Exeter and Glasgow on 17 and 24 March, and London Gatwick on 10 March. A 20kg checked luggage allowance is included.

La Plagne is one of France's best known ski resorts and -- as it's part of the Paradiski area -- has direct access to 139 lifts and 425km of pistes.
