"A luxury holiday in an exotic and unspoilt destination," says The Guardian about a break at the Mazagan. Set on El Jadida beach, the resort -- which is ranked number one in the area on TripAdvisor -- is close to the port of El Jadida on Morocco's Atlantic coast.
Once under Portuguese rule, El Jadida has Moorish and Portuguese influences and its old fortified section is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There's a free shuttle that runs to and from the city. The 15th-century town of Azemmour is also nearby and Casablanca is roughly 50 miles away.
There are 11 restaurants, including Olive's, which serves Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, and the Market Place, which overlooks the courtyard gardens and serves Middle Eastern food such as mezze and Moroccan pastries. This offer includes dinner at either restaurant. The resort also has a casino, a nightclub, two swimming pools, an 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player and a spa with a traditional hammam and ESPA treatments.
