Dubai is one of the world's most expensive package holiday destinations, according to The Guardian. But we've found a luxury 3-night escape that bucks the trend -- at under £500 per person, this deal from British Travel Award-winners The Holiday Place is the cheapest Dubai offer we've published since 2010.

For £499 per person -- that's £400 less than usual -- you get:

  • Scheduled return flights from London Heathrow, plus checked baggage**
  • Three nights at the 5-star Jumeirah Creekside Hotel
  • Daily breakfast
  • Upgrade to a Deluxe room***

Travelzoo subscribers can enjoy perks including a welcome platter on arrival, a complimentary soft drink mini bar, free Wi-FI, a 25% discount on spa treatments, free shuttle service to the popular shopping malls and access to the Wild Wadi Waterpark and private sandy beach at nearby Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The resort also offers a 24-hour check-in service.

"If you’re heading to Dubai for sun, sea and sand, spring and autumn are ideal, when you can bronze your body by day and cool down after dark," says The Telegraph. This deal covers both -- depart Mondays-Wednesdays from 16 May-30 June; 1-30 September.

Alternatively, depart from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle for an additional £50 per person. It's an extra £100 per person to depart in July and August.

The luxurious Jumeirah Creekside opened in July last year. Set in Old Dubai overlooking the creek, the hotel has a spa with a sauna, a hammam, 14 treatment rooms and views over the gardens. It's also home to The Aviation Club, which features two swimming pools, a renovated state-of-the art gym, two indoor squash courts, four tennis courts, a beach volleyball court and two exercise studios.

The food is a highlight -- dining options include a rooftop bar, a pan-Asian restaurant and Blue Flame, which serves local produce. Rooms have 42-inch plasma TVs and there's also a specially commissioned art collection throughout the hotel and grounds, with pieces that reflect the region's art and cultural heritage.

Alternatively, spend the evening at one of the many restaurants and bars of The Irish Village, which is within walking distance of the hotel.

Return transfers are not included and are an extra £25 per person.
