This holiday from peoplestravel ticks off two of 2012's top travel trends: Visit Vietnam, featured on this year's National Geographic Traveller's Hot List, and stay at a Condé Nast Traveller Hot List hotel for £1259 per person -- that's over £875 less than we've found this selling for elsewhere.
The luxury package includes:
Each private villa at the Fusion Maia Resort has its own outdoor plunge pool and courtyard; inside, you'll find a rain shower, a sunken stone bathtub, a DVD player, an iPod and a coffee machine.
Set around a tropical garden, the spa offers a choice of treatments -- from foot reflexology to wraps and massages (all are included for free) -- as well as Jacuzzis, steam rooms, saunas and a yoga studio. Breakfast can be taken in any location at the resort, including the villa, poolside or in the dining room which overlooks the infinity pool, the beach and the South China Sea.
The hotel is 10 minutes from Da Nang, and there's a free shuttle service to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Condé Nast Traveller says the best time to visit is "between February and May, when it's hot but not sweltering and the rainy season hasn't settled in".
