For £445 per person, visit Corsica in "the wildflower-filled spring" and autumn months when, according to Lonely Planet, the island is at its best. This full-board week at a hotel recommended by Condé Nast Traveller is 49% cheaper than usual.
The holiday includes seven nights at the San Lucianu Beach Resort and daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, return flights from Heathrow with British Airways (including checked luggage) and transfers to and from the resort.
Set against a mountain backdrop, the hotel lies on a stretch of sandy beach to the northeast of the island and is 30 minutes from Bastia Airport. Over half of the rooms have recently been refurbished. Meals are served on the restaurant's terrace overlooking the gardens; some dinners are buffet-style and some are à la carte. Free activities include sailing, tennis, fitness classes, windsurfing and mountain biking, and the hotel also has four all-day clubs for children aged up to 17. There is a supplement for the Baby Club, which caters for children from four months to two years old.
Condé Nast Traveller commends the San Lucianu Beach Resort, saying it's set on "one of the most stunning beaches" in the Mark Warner portfolio.
