According to The Daily Telegraph, 2013 and the beginning of 2014 are a time of "solar maximum", which means that Northern Lights displays are "likely to be more frequent, more vivid and more extensive than usual."
The Northern Lights excursion is approximately three hours long. Guests will be picked up at the hotel and taken to a location outside of the city, with an English-speaking guide at all times.
