A 3-night break in Amsterdam is now available for £189 per person, including breakfast and flights. This deal from Qwerty Travel is 50% off the regular price and includes travel during the Christmas markets, when prices normally soar.

Depart from London Gatwick daily from 1-27 December and 3 January-28 February, 2012. Departures from Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Belfast are an additional £10 per person.

Accommodation is in the newly opened 4-star Mint Hotel Amsterdam, centrally located on the river and next to the main train station Amsterdam Centraal. It's close to attractions such as the Van Gogh Museum, the Old Town, the Rijksmuseum (Museum of Art and History), the Leidseplein square (featuring cafés, bars and nightlife) and the Anne Frank Museum. The Heineken Experience is a short metro ride away and major shopping districts are within a few minutes' walk.
