Upscale hotels, near-guaranteed sunshine and low prices have long made Sharm el Sheikh a honeypot for bargain-hungry holidaymakers. But this luxury offer from Fleetway Travel is a cut above: an all-inclusive week, with à la carte dining, for £699 per person -- that's over £300 less than usual.
Here's what you get:
The Baron Palms Resort overlooks the Strait of Tiran, a protected area known for its top dive sites, shipwrecks and many coral reefs. Boat trips set out daily to nearby Tiran Island and Ras Mohammed National Park, which is an hour and a half away. On the private sandy beach you'll find a 140-metre-long floating jetty, which leads to colorful coral reefs and deeper waters for snorkelling.
Guests staying on the premium all-inclusive basis can eat for free at either of the à la carte restaurants, including a candelit poolside restaurant and an Egyptian speciality restaurant, as well as the main buffet. There's also an Oriental cafe with shisha smoking areas, plus several bars.
Other facilities include a diving centre, a gym, tennis courts, a spa and two large swimming pools. Further afield, you'll find the Sinai desert -- tuck into a traditional Bedouin dinner at sunset or visit the monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai on an organised tour (charges apply).
Depart on select dates from 11 March-13 July. Alternatively, depart in August and September for an extra £100 per person -- click here for more information.
Stay 10 nights for an additional £200 per person, or 14 nights for an additional £400 per person.
Checked luggage is not included and is an extra £38 per person. This package is £399 per child aged 2-12, and £80 for infants under two years old.
