"You'd be a fool to miss out on Lisbon," says Condé Nast Traveller. We're inclined to agree after seeing this deal from Travel Interaction that includes return flights, a 3-night stay at a 5-star hotel and a little piece something quintessentially Portuguese -- custard tarts on arrival -- for £219 per person. That's up to £100 off prices we saw elsewhere.
Depart from London Gatwick or London Luton from 15 April-25 June and stay at the 5-star Altis Hotel, with daily breakfast included. This centrally located hotel is within walking distance of the Avenida da Liberdade (Liberty Avenue), a boulevard with gardens that runs through the heart of the city. A welcome treat of Portuguese pastries (pasteis de nata) and water will be in your room on arrival.
It's £30 per person more to fly from Liverpool, or £70 per person more from Bristol.
The Altis Hotel has two on-site dining options -- the Grill D. Fernando, serving Portuguese cuisine and offering panoramic city views from its 12th floor location, and the Rendez Vous Coffee Shop for lighter meals. There is also an indoor pool and health centre at the hotel.
Book by 6 March.
