Travel to Paris by Eurostar and stay two nights in a deluxe hotel, for £129 per person -- that's almost as much as some return Eurostar tickets can cost. This deal from Fleetway Travel saves up to 43% on the cost of putting the package together yourself.
Depart from St Pancras International on select dates from 4 January-6 March.
Travel in April from £149 per person, or in December, 2016, from £189 per person.
Located in Paris's 15th arrondissement, the hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Seine and 20 minutes on the Métro from the Eiffel Tower (via the Hôpital de Vaugirard stop). There's a large local street market in the area between the Motte-Picquet and Dupleix Métro stations -- Sundays are particularly good for antiques.
Rue du Commerce, the main street in the 15th arrondissement, is 15 minutes on foot from the hotel. It's lined with boutiques, typically French restaurants and cafés -- we particularly like the food at Le Café du Commerce, a traditional brasserie.
The hotel has a bar overlooking a flower-filled patio, and there's free Wi-Fi throughout. Bedrooms are air conditioned and have tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Transfers & baggage
Return transfers are an extra £45 per person. Alternatively, you can take the Métro line four from Gare du Nord to Strasbourg St Denis and then line 8 to Boucicaut, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes and costs 1.90€. Eurostar tickets include a 2-piece luggage allowance.
