"Few places are changing as quickly as Cuba," says Stylist magazine -- so now's the time to go. For £899 per person, this 10-night trip takes you from Havana, where crumbling architecture and vintage cars sit alongside smoky salsa clubs, to one of the best beaches on the island. It also comes with a hefty £800 saving and a slew of extra perks.

The holiday starts in Havana, the Caribbean's "most vivacious city", according to Lonely Planet. A 15-minute drive from Old Havana, the Occidental Miramar is in the Miramar district overlooking the sea. Dining options include a buffet, an à la carte restaurant and a snack bar. There's also a fitness room, six tennis courts, a sauna and two bars.
For Cuban food at its best, The Guardian recommends trying one of the many paladares (private restaurants) that have sprung up in Havana. These range from early 20th-century mansions to homely apartment cafes run by Cuban grandmothers.
Next, head to the Breezes Varadero for a week of beachside relaxation. The hotel is adults only (but allows children over the age of 14) and is spread across 26 acres of tropical gardens, on a white-sand beach. As well as tennis courts, a gym, a freshwater pool and three Jacuzzis, Breezes offers one free scuba diving session and dance lessons.
