"Few places are changing as quickly as Cuba," says Stylist magazine -- so now's the time to go. For £799 per person, this 10-night trip takes you from Havana, where crumbling architecture and vintage cars sit alongside smoky salsa clubs, to one of the best beaches on the island. At £600 less than usual, it's the cheapest Cuba deal we've seen this year.

The holiday starts in Havana, "the Caribbean's largest and most vivacious city", according to Lonely Planet. A 20-minute drive from Old Havana, the Comodoro Hotel and Bungalows is in the Miramar district on the sea front. Dining options include a buffet restaurant and two à la carte restaurants that serve Cuban and Italian cuisine.
For Cuban food at its best, The Guardian recommends trying one of the many paladares (private restaurants) that have sprung up in Havana. These range from early 20th-century mansions to homely apartment cafes run by Cuban grandmothers.
Next, head to the Hotel Club Amigo Aguas Azules for a week of beachside relaxation in Varadero. The all-inclusive board covers free tennis, football, non-motorised watersports (pedal boats, windsurfing, catamarans and kayaks), scuba diving classes, Spanish dance lessons and evening entertainment. There's also a Jacuzzi and two swimming pools, as well as a buffet and more formal international, seafood and Creole restaurants.
Depart on 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 September; 7, 14 October.
It's an extra £100 per person to depart on 26 August; 4, 11 November; 2, 9 December; and an extra £200 per person to depart on 17 June; 1 July; 21, 28 October; 25 November; 6, 13, 20 January, 2014.
