After an overnight flight, you'll arrive in Shanghai for a 2-night stay at the Wyndham Bund East Shanghai. Activities in Shanghai include a trip to the Shanghai Museum and a walk along The Bund. There is also plenty of free time to explore the city.
You'll fly to Wuhan for an overnight stay at the Howard Johnson Pearl Plaza hotel, before heading to Jingzhou where you'll board Sinorama Gold 3 for the 4-night Yangtze River cruise. Highlights during the cruise include the Three Gorges Dam and Shibaozhai, a famed 12-storey temple.
You'll disembark at Chongqing for an overnight stay at the Sofitel Forebase Chongqing. While there, you can visit Chongqing Zoo, which is home to giant and red pandas, as well as the very rare South China tiger.
Next, you'll fly to Xi'an and stay at the Holiday Inn Xi'an Big Goose Pagoda for two nights -- this will give you plenty of time to see the world-famous Terracotta Army.
You'll then travel to Beijing for a 3-night stay at the Lijingwan International Hotel. While in the city, you'll visit three of its top sights -- Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You'll also visit the Great Wall.
