The trip starts in Bangkok, recently voted the number one city in Asia by Condé Nast Traveler readers. The Chaophya Park Bangkok has six restaurants that serve food from fresh seafood and meat barbecues to international and Asian classics. It also has a massage centre and a spa for beauty treatments.

Bustling Hong Kong is known for its shopping, nightlife and cuisine. Some of the top sights include the view from Victoria Peak, the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and the historic Sheung Wan district. The Excelsior Hong Kong is at the centre of Causeway Bay, a popular shopping district, and overlooks Victoria Harbour. It is a handy 15-minute walk to Wan Chai, which is well-known for its flashy bars and clubs.

Macau is praised for its ''unique mixture of Portuguese and Chinese cultures'' by Frommer's and is a scenic ferry ride away from Hong Kong. It offers a unique blend of of Portuguese and Chinese cultures amongst a sea of lights emerging from its casinos, restaurants and nightlife. The Venetian Macao Resort has several restaurants that specialise in Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Brazilian and all-round Asian cuisine.
