The 4-star Hilton Nuweiba Coral Resort is on the Gulf of Aqaba, four miles from the centre of Nuweiba and 55 miles from Taba Airport (90 minutes by car). The hotel has lush gardens, a private sandy beach, a free-form infinity pool, two restaurants and three bars. Payable activities include squash, table tennis, mini golf and volleyball. All Deluxe Rooms have patio doors opening out to the gardens. All-inclusive board covers all meals, snacks and drinks. The Blue Blue restaurant serves international dishes.
Nuweiba town (five minutes by car) has bazaars, shops, restaurants and a buzzing port. The town is well positioned for visiting awe-inspiring sights such as Petra, Jerusalem or St Catherine's Monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai -- trips can be booked through the hotel. Closer to the hotel you can book camel and Bedouin treks, a trip to the Coloured Canyon and Jeep safaris.
