£179 -- 'Perfect' 5-Star Portugal Escape w/Flights, 50% Off
I'm a little bit in love with this gorgeously boutique Portuguese break. You get three nights in a lovely historic 5-star hotel, including flights, for £179 -- 50% cheaper than the usual price. The hotel is a 16th-century manor with a Michelin-starred restaurant and a bar overlooking the Casa da Calçada vineyards. It's in the town of Amarante, between Porto and the Douro Valley. I'll be honest, I hadn’t heard of Amarante before I started researching this deal. Now I want to go immediately. Google Image it and you'll see what I mean.

£1799 -- Peru: 11-Night Tour w/Trips, Meals & Flights
We've been searching for a Peruvian holiday to include in the Top 20 for literally years. It's a genuinely tantalising destination that we've been dying to feature and it's on almost all of our bucket lists. But here's the problem: Peru's expensive. Flights are usually sky high and tour operators hardly ever cut prices -- they just don't need to lower their rates to attract travellers. So for a trip to Peru including flights, you're usually looking at well over £2k. Our Deal Experts meet every week to present the offers they've found and decide which ones are hot enough to be included in the Top 20 and every week we hunt for a Peru deal -- to no avail. That's why we were so excited to find this one. At £1799, it's still pricey. But considering what's covered, including flights, accommodation in five popular destinations, meals and a whole stack of tours, I think it's a bargain. An offer that includes a train ride to Machu Picchu was always going straight to the top of my list.

£139 -- Rome: 3 Nights inc Flights, Wine & More
On the other hand, there's something to be said for cheap and cheerful. And this deal is certainly cheap. For £139, you get return flights to Rome plus three nights in a 4-star hotel, with breakfast and a bottle of wine. To be honest, I think that's almost silly. You could pay more than that for one night at a 4-star hotel in London and call it a bargain. I'm considering booking it during Christmas market season -- I'll spend the money I saved on prosecco and panettone.
