Publisher’s Roundup, 11 April

Long weekends mean short weeks. It’s only Wednesday and our Travelzoo dealhounds already look in desperate need of a holiday after working round the clock to bring you this week’s Top 20. The good news for them, and for you, is that today’s newsletter was chock-full of amazing offers for those craving some time off. Here are my personal favourites:

£299 -- 9-Night Spring Cruise Around the UK
When this deal popped in our inbox yesterday afternoon, we couldn’t quite believe it: £299 for a 9-night cruise. Good joke. Well, the joke is on us since the good people at Ocean World Travel really are offering this sailing with stops at popular cities like Dublin and Belfast for less than £300. Trivia alert: this deal, which includes accommodation and all your meals for 10 days, will cost you significantly less than taking your partner for the tasting menu at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck.

£119 -- Sussex Country House w/Dinner & Wine, Reg £250+
Talking of foodie treats, this deal might interest you: for £119, two people get an overnight stay at a historic country house hotel is Sussex, a glass of sparkling wine each and a 3-course dinner at the property's AA-Rosette restaurant. This package from Ghyll Manor would normally cost £130 more, so that's a huge saving. There's a lot of local attractions to fill your day including the gardens at Parham House, St Mary’s House and the National Trust's Wakehurst Place. You can also spend all that money you saved buying some wine at the nearby Nutbourne Vineyards.

£999 -- St Lucia: All-Inc Beach Break w/Spa, Save £650
And now for the piéce de resistance: a week on the beach in St Lucia for under a grand. Grand. This deal saves you £650 on the regular price and includes all your meals and drinks. Plus, no need to stress about last-minute departures or being able to book off specific dates. This offer is available for travel on Tuesdays and Fridays for most of June, July, September, October and November – so unless your boss is really mean, you should manage to find a suitable date.
