We've got our eye on deals rolling in as National Cruise Week kicks off...
The sixth National Cruise Week begins on 21 September. This year's afternoon tea-themed proceedings are all about getting people cruising, and so travel companies and cruise agents will be hosting scone-filled events up and down the country.
The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) UK & Ireland, describe it as a "chance to get the nation talking about cruise" and "the wonderful value, quality, dining, destinations, enrichment, entertainment, service, facilities and opportunities that cruising offers".
Last year, an estimated 20.9 million people worldwide booked a cruise, with Brits accounting for 1.7 million of this figure. That's double the total who cruised 10 years ago, and a 2.5% increase on 2011. Hopefully next year will see even more people finding their sea legs.
If you're thinking of booking a cruise, then why not take a look around our cruise sections? We have plenty of deals to the Med and Canaries, as well as sailings to other destinations in Europe, such as the Norwegian fjords, and the Caribbean and Americas.
