The burst of sunshine over the weekend has got us all excited about outdoor events in London and none more so than the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which will run from 21-25 May.
A firm favourite with green-fingered enthusiasts, design lovers and the Royals, the show will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year and promises to be a good 'un.
Held in its usual spot -- the grounds of the Royal Hospital -- the show is the most prestigious event of its kind in the UK and attracts around 157,000 visitors every year. Highlights include the wonderfully impressive plant displays in the Great Pavilion and the mass plant sale held at the end of the week, when exhibitors sell their wares.
The show, however, will not be without controversy: this will be the first year that the Royal Horticultural Society has allowed garden gnomes at the event, after years and years of refusal!
