It’s getting colder, and while we are often tempted to escape falling temperatures, another option is to embrace them, albeit in different surroundings. If you are a skier or a snowboarder you know that this time of year is cause for excitement. Snow has already fallen in Europe and some resorts open in just over two months, meaning there are plenty of early-bird offers to tempt the most devoted beach bums to strap on some salopettes and hunt down the powder.
