A recent Opera North production at Leeds Grand Theatre & Opera House was unmissable, says The Press. With this offer, Travelzoo subscribers can save 50% on tickets when the company returns to the venue with Handel's "Joshua" on 1 and 3-4 May.
Starring the full chorus of Opera North, "Joshua" combines a tale of love with the Old Testament journey of the Israelites after Moses's death. The 18th-century oratorio was written during Handel's late creative period and, alongside "Messiah", is considered by many to be one of his greatest works. Sung in English, the performance lasts approximately two hours and 30 minutes.
A range of ticket types in the Stalls, Dress Circle and Upper Circle -- usually priced at £15-£63.50 -- are now half price, making them £7.50-£31.75. We found good availability, although there is limited supply of the lower-priced tickets, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment, as they are selling fast.
The only extra to pay is a one-off transaction charge of £1.50. An optional postage charge of £1 applies.
Travelzoo tip: Avoid the transaction fee by booking in person at the box office.
Book by 23 April.
