About the show
"Bakersfield Mist" follows the story of Maude, an unemployed bartender who purchases an old painting for a few dollars. She soon becomes convinced that it is actually an original Jackson Pollock, worth millions, and calls in a New York art expert to authenticate it.

This new production sees Kathleen Turner ("Body Heat", "Peggy Sue Got Married") return to the West End for the first time since her critically acclaimed performance in Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". She stars opposite Olivier and Tony award-winning actor Ian McDiarmid ("Star Wars", "Life of Galileo").
