About the show
This new adaptation of Alan Ayckbourn's classic 1997 play sees actress and singer Natalie Imbruglia make her theatre debut. Although she has starred in "Neighbours" and "Johnny English", she is best known for her music career, which featured smash hit singles such as "Torn".
The imaginative set for this tangled love-story consists of three floors in a converted South West London house. Elegant landlady Barbara lives on the middle floor, postman Gilbert -- who is in love with Barbara -- resides downstairs, whilst Nikki (played by Imbruglia) -- Barbara's old school friend -- moves in upstairs with her Fiancé.
"Natalie Imbruglia makes a superb stage debut in this immaculately judged production of Ayckbourn's bittersweet tale" -- The Daily Telegraph
