About the show:
The Independent says this new stage production of "Brassed Off" is "full of belly laughs" and "full of human spirit". Marking the 30th anniversary of the miners' strike, the play follows a group of South Yorkshire mineworkers who are battling to keep their brass band together during the collapse of the industry. This moving comedy-drama, directed by Damian Cruden, features a live brass band and stars John McArdle ("Brookside") and Andrew Dunn ("Coronation Street").
