The price of a 5-night taster cruise to Amsterdam and the Channel Islands has just been dropped by £100. It's now £199 per person, including all meals and Inside Cabin accommodation.
This full-board deal from Iglu Cruise is to sail from Southampton on 3 June aboard P&O Cruises' Ventura. The price is based on an Inside Cabin. Outside Cabins are £30 more per person and Balconies for £50 more. Click here for more information.
For under £40 per night, you'll be among the first to sail on the ship since a multi-million pound refurbishment this spring, which saw the addition of The Glass House, a wine bar and grill by celebrity wine expert Olly Smith. The cabins were also revamped.
First stop on this sailing is Amsterdam, where you'll have until 6pm to visit the city. The port terminal is only about 10-15 minutes' walk from the city centre. Amsterdam is small enough to be covered on foot, making it easier to discover the city with its canals, picturesque architecture and first-class museums, including the newly reopened Rijksmuseum.
The ship then sails to St Peter Port (Guernsey) where guests will be able to discover the island's capital with its seafront marina and cobbled streets.
Facilities on board Ventura include a spa, pools, a gym and a 3D cinema. There is also a show lounge, Cirque Ventura (where guests can learn juggling, tight-rope walking and other circus skills) and a good selection of eateries and bars, including The White Room, a signature restaurant by Marco Pierre White.
Although dining at The White Room costs extra, all restaurants offer high-quality food. In its review of Ventura, The Daily Telegraph says: "The cuisine was a real highlight -- varied and delicious, with different menus each night and wonderfully attentive waiters in the three silver-service restaurants."
Car parking in Southampton can be added from £59 per car.
