Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has cut the price of a special Sir Bobby Robson Foundation cruise to Amsterdam to £179 per person. Saving £120 on the brochure price, this deal includes a 3-night sailing aboard the Black Watch with a free upgrade to an Outside Cabin and a complimentary coach transfer.
Black Watch sets sail from Harwich on 15 June. The ship sails to Amsterdam before returning to the UK to dock in Newcastle. A complimentary coach transfer from Newcastle to Harwich is provided for all guests at the beginning or end of the cruise.
In celebration of football legend Sir Bobby Robons’s (former footballer, manager and England Manager) life, there will be a number of special onboard events and chance to visit the Ipswich Town and Newcastle United football grounds pre- and post-cruise. Scottish football manager and former player George Burley will also be on board.
The price is based on two sharing on a full-board basis. Upgrade to a Junior Suite for £120 more or a Balcony Suite for £180 more per person.
The mid-sized Black Watch has ample room on deck for strolling. Dining options include the spacious Glentanar Restaurant, the Orchid Room and the more casual Braemar Garden Café. Lounges include the nautically themed Lido Lounge and The Observatory. Other facilities include the Neptune Lounge, which hosts regular shows and cabaret acts, a small cinema, two swimming pools, a tennis court and a fitness centre.
