Update (17 September; 15:36): Due to high demand, both Inside and Outside Staterooms have now sold out. Balcony Staterooms are still available. However, their price has also gone up by £50 per person to £249.
Cunard is a name that generally comes with a hefty price tag. Thanks to Iglu Cruise, however, you can set sail with this luxury cruise line for £149 per person. This deal has just been discounted by over £100 and saves £250 on the brochure price.
This sailing is a 2-night 5-star mini cruise from Southampton to Zeebrugge (for Bruges) aboard Queen Victoria, which was third in the Top 10 Large Resort Ships category in this year's Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships. The price is based on an Inside Stateroom, but Balcony Staterooms are just £50 more per person. Travel on 17 October.
Once in Zeebrugge, guests will have 10 hours' free time, before boarding for the journey back to Southampton.
Queen Victoria has a choice of seven dining options and 10 bars. The ship has two swimming pools and four whirlpools, a spa and fitness centre, shops, a casino and a theatre. CruiseCritic.co.uk says, "The ship is large enough to feature plenty of space, but also cosy enough to foster a sense of intimacy, and is actually the most beautiful ship Cunard has built." Cunard was voted Best Cruise Line at the British Travel Awards 2011 and Best Cruise Line -- Large Ships at the 2011 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards. Guests will experience famous White Star Service including white-gloved afternoon tea.
