Cruise Circle has released an impressive 2-week cruise around South Africa and Mozambique for £1499 per person. This sailing, which would cost over £370 more to put together yourself, starts with a stay in Cape Town and gives you the chance to discover Mozambique, a land of "stunning beaches" and "magical offshore islands", according to Lonely Planet

The cruise is aboard MSC Opera, with all meals and snacks. Return flights with checked luggage are also included.

Flight departs from London Heathrow or London Gatwick on 9 November. Fly from Manchester or Glasgow for £49 more per person.

After landing in Cape Town, guests will spend a night at the centrally located Cape Diamond Hotel. Add extra nights at the hotel from £29 more per person. Must-dos in Cape Town include a cable car ride up Table Mountain for incredible views of the city and a stroll along the V&A Waterfront.

The cruise begins the following day. After leaving Cape Town, the ship heads to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Province and Durban in KwaZulu. Guests will spend a couple of days in Durban before heading on to Mozambique, "one of Africa’s up-and-coming hot-spots", says Lonely Planet.

Stops in Mozambique include Maputo, Portuguese Island -- an uninhabited nature reserve with unspoiled beaches, coral reefs and lagoons -- and the southern coastal city of Inhambane. The cruise finishes back in Durban for the overnight flight home.

The price is based on two sharing an Inside Cabin. Upgrade to an Ocean View Cabin for an extra £210 per person or a Balcony Cabin for £440 extra per person.

MSC Opera has a show lounge, a nightclub, a casino, a spa and a mix of bars and lounges. There are two main restaurants -- La Caravella and L'Approdo -- and the more casual Le Vele cafeteria and the outdoor Il Patio.

Transfers are not included, but can be added for £59 more per person.
