Update (14:48, 19 Dec); Due to popular demand all of the Manchester flights have now sold out.
Holiday prices normally rocket over New Year's Eve, which is why we were delighted to find this cracking deal from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines for nearly half the normal price. For £699 per person -- £650 less than usual -- you get an 11-night cruise around the sunny Canary Islands and Morocco, with return flights from two UK airports.
When can I go
Flights depart from London Gatwick and Manchester on 27 December.
The starting point of the cruise is Santa Cruz de Tenerife. From there, the ship heads to Funchal, the capital of Madeira. The next ports of call are Casablanca and Agadir in Morocco, followed by Las Palmas on Gran Canaria and Puerto del Rosario on Fuerteventura, before the ship returns to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Guests will catch the return flight home from Tenerife.
Braemar joined the Fred. Olsen fleet in 2001 and received a complete facelift in 2008, which included the addition of the Observatory Lounge, the Grampian Restaurant, a new swimming pool and the Scottish-themed Morning Light Pub. The ship has a traditional feel, with à la carte dining in the Thistle restaurant, and a more formal experience in the Grampian. Facilities include gaming tables, two Jacuzzis, a fitness centre, a beauty salon and a library.
