Update (13 June, 16.29): Due to high demand, this offer is no longer available at the original price. Staterooms are still available, but are now £799 per person.
We found an ideal way to escape Britain's miserable weather: £699 per person for a 13-night cruise to some of the Mediterranean's hotspots in the middle of the summer. This saves up to £400 on the regular price.
This sailing calls in Spain, southern France and Italy, where temperatures are currently in the high 20ºs and the sun is blazing. And, that's only a taster of what things will be like when this cruise departs on 2 September.
Passengers will board Azura, one of P&O Cruises' flagships vessels, in Southampton. The ship then sails south and stops in Gibraltar, Cartagena (Spain), Livorno (Italy; for Florence and Pisa), Villefranche (French riviera) and Barcelona, before heading back to Southampton.
The price is based on 13 nights' accommodation in an Inside Stateroom. Outside Staterooms are an extra £100 per person, and Balcony Staterooms £300 more.
Azura is ideal for people seeking a relaxed approach to cruising. Guests can choose between fixed-seating dining at the Peninsular and Oriental Restaurants, and free-seating dining at the Meridian Restaurant. Fine-dining options (at an extra cost) include Sindhu, an Indian restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar. Onboard, guests can find a wide range of facilities including a theatre, a nightclub and a spa with a gym, saunas, steam rooms and treatment rooms. Click here for more information.
