Cruise Nation has released a sailing around the Mediterranean over Easter -- a time of year when travel prices usually rocket -- for £599 per person, saving an impressive £475 on the usual price. On top of an 11-night full-board cruise, the package also includes return flights.
Return flights to Nice and an 11-night cruise around Italy, Greece and Turkey on the Costa neoRomantica. The price is based on two sharing an Inside Cabin.
Flights depart from London Gatwick on 8 and 19 April -- both sailings fall across the Easter bank-holiday weekend.
Visit Cruise Nation's website for further details.
The cruise begins in Savona. From there, the ship heads to Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina on the island of Sicily and Piraeus for Athens. The next stops are Izmir in Turkey, Heraklion, the capital of Crete, the Maltese city of Valletta, and Marseille in the southeast of France. The cruise ends back in Savona for the return flight home.
Formerly the Romantica, the mid-sized Costa neoRomantica underwent a refurbishment in 2013. New features include a cabaret lounge, a nightclub, an Italian restaurant and a wine and cheese bar, plus the Samsara Spa, complete with a thalassotherapy pool, a Turkish spa and a sauna.
Transfers & baggage
Transfers are not included but can be added for £44 per person. It's an extra £28-£34 for 20kg baggage.
