The Cruise Village has slashed the price of a week-long Mediterranean cruise, sailing on dates throughout the year, to £579 per person. The package saves £400 and includes a 7-night cruise on the MSC Splendida, return flights and airport transfers. Children can travel from £295 each.
Flights depart from London Gatwick on 13 April; 4 May; 1, 22 June; 14, 21 September; 12, 19, 26 October and 9 November.
MSC Splendida sails from Genoa to Marseille (cited as one of the Best Trips 2013 by National Geographic), Valencia, La Goulette and Civitavecchia (for Rome) before returning to Genoa. This cruise is a great way to see the sights in Italy, Spain and France, three of Europe's most popular holiday spots, in one trip.
The price is based on two sharing an Inside Stateroom on a full-board basis. Upgrade to all-inclusive for an extra £140 per person. Outside Staterooms are £100 more and Balcony Staterooms £196 more per person.
Launched in spring 2009, the modern MSC Splendida features lots of bars and lounges including a jazz bar and a large show lounge, where a selection of dance and acrobatics are performed. Other facilities include four swimming pools and an ocean-view spa. There are four dining options, including L'Olivio, serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, La Reggia Restaurant for fine-dining and Santa Fe Tex-Mex restaurant (extra charges apply).
