Iglu Cruise has cut the price of a 12-night sailing around Portugal and Spain to £549 per person -- the equivalent of £42 per night. For £250 less than usual, this deal includes accommodation on the adult-only P&O Oriana with all meals, snacks and evening entertainment.
The P&O Oriana sails from Southampton on 4 November.
The first port of call is Lisbon, where "Gothic cathedrals, majestic monasteries and quaint museums are all part of the colourful cityscape", says Lonely Planet. The next stops are Gibraltar, Barcelona and Valencia -- a city that "represents the essence of contemporary Spain", with "daring design and architecture along with experimental cuisine", says Frommer's. The final stops are Malaga and Cadiz, before Oriana returns to Southampton.
The price is based on two sharing an Inside Cabin. Upgrade to an Outside Cabin for £50 more person or a Balcony Cabin for £450 more per person.

Oriana, a ship with "a feeling of timeless elegance", says Douglas Ward writing in The Daily Telegraph, has a huge Tiffany-glass atrium and is home to Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill restaurant (extra charges apply). Other dining options include Al Fresco serving Mediterranean cuisine and the Italian-themed Sorrento. There is also a selection of bars, a cinema, a show lounge and an ocean-view gym. Most sailings on Oriana are given a brass band send-off.
