Update (9 May, 17:37): Please note that due to popular demand Cruise Nation are experiencing high call volumes, as a result there may be a wait before your call is answered.
This offer from Cruise Nation combines a 7-night eastern Med cruise with two overnight stays in Venice and return flights in peak summer for an incredible £399 per person. This saves up to £600 on the brochure price, plus, putting this 9-night deal together yourself could cost up to £320 more.
Flights depart from London Gatwick, London Southend and Birmingham on 2, 9, 16 and 23 June -- a time of year when Mediterranean cruises normally come at a premium. Click here for more information.
After landing in Venice, guests will spend a night at the Smart Hotel Holiday** in Mestre (on the mainland, two miles from Venice) before cruising on the Costa Fascinosa. The ship sails to Bari (Italy), Katakolon (Greece), Izmir, Istanbul (Turkey) and Dubrovnik (Croatia), before returning to Venice. The package concludes with another overnight stay at the hotel before the return flight home.
The price is based on two sharing an Inside Cabin on a full-board basis. Upgrade to all-inclusive for £17 more per night (£119 per person in total).
A similar sailing on the Costa Magica, calling at Venice, Bari, Katakolon, Piraeus, Santorini, Corfu and Dubrovnik, is available for the same price.
You can travel on 3, 10, 17 November for £369 per person.
The Costa Fascinosa is a "lively" ship that's "full of sparkle", according to the 2013 Berlitz Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships. Facilities include a spa, a 3-tiered show lounge that hosts cabarets, a large casino, an art gallery and three swimming pools, two with retractable dome roofs. There is also a choice of 13 bars and lounges.
