For the first part of the holiday, guests will spend a week in the popular resort of Sharm el Sheikh. The hotel overlooks Naama Bay and is a 15-minute walk from the local shops, restaurants and bars. Facilities at the hotel include a swimming pool, a restaurant and a pool bar.
Next, guests will board the MSC Armonia for 10 nights. The ship sails from Sharm el Sheikh to Sokhna Port (Egypt), before cruising through the Suez Canal and on to Limassol (Cyprus), Antalya (Turkey), Rhodes, Heraklion, Piraeus for Athens (Greece), Kotor (Montenegro) and Venice (Italy), where the cruise ends.
Return transfers are not included but can be added for an extra £50 per person.
European in design and feel, the MSC Armonia has two swimming pools, a show lounge that hosts theatre and cabarets, a climbing wall and a wellness centre, complete with an ocean-view gym. The ship has two main dining options, the Marco Polo Restaurant and the more formal La Pergola; there is also the Café San Marco for coffee and pastries.
