Spend a fortnight sailing around Spain and Portugal for less than £65 per person, per night with this deal from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. The package includes a 14-night sailing on Braemar with all meals and snacks, for £899 per person -- that's a saving of £500 on the brochure price.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has also cut 50% off the all-inclusive package reducing it to £203 per person (£15 per night).
Braemar sails from Dover on 8 April, calling at Lisbon, Malaga, Cartagena, Mallorca, Barcelona, Gibraltar and La Coruna before returning to Dover. Condé Nast Traveller praises Barcelona (pictured) for its stunning "diversity of architecture" and "world class museums and galleries", while Lonely Planet calls Lisbon Portugal's "star attraction". Temperatures around the Mediterranean range from 20-25°C during spring.
The price is based on two people sharing an Inside Cabin. Outside Cabins are £150 more and Superior Outside Cabins are £400 more per person.
Braemar joined the Fred. Olsen fleet in 2001 and received a complete facelift in 2008, including the addition of the Observatory Lounge, the Grampian Restaurant, a new swimming pool and the Morning Light, a Scottish-themed pub. The ship has a traditional feel with formal dinner at the two restaurants, the Thistle and the Grampian. Facilities include gaming tables, two Jacuzzis, a fitness centre, a beauty salon and a library.
