P&O Cruises has just released a new fare on a 13-night May sailing to the Canaries and Madeira. The price is now £899 per person -- this is the cheapest available for this cruise.
This no-fly deal departs from Southampton on 11 May and includes:
Plus, this is a special "Strictly Come Dancing" voyage with special performances and even a special dance competition judged by the "Strictly" team. This is one of only seven "Stricly" sailings in 2013.
The ship's first port of call in Funchal (Madeira), where guests will be able to discover the Jardim Botânico with its orchid garden and 50,000 plants. The ship then sails to the Canaries, with stops in La Palma, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. From each port, a number of excursions will be available for a supplement. These include dolphin watching, a visit to a vineyard and a catamaran cruise with a chance to snorkel**.
Following the three Canary Island stops, Azura starts its journey back to Southampton with stops in Cadiz and Lisbon, described by Fodor's as "Europe's most visually striking capital".
A member of the Travelzoo staff sailed on Azura recently and loved the atmosphere and food. The ship has plenty to offer, whether you want to enjoy great cuisine at one of five restaurants (including one run by the Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar), relax by the pool or dance the night away at the Manhattan nightclub. Other facilities include a theatre, a casino and the Glass House, a bar and restaurant with wines selected by expert Olly Smith.
