With stops in six countries, this 12-night deal from Iglu Cruise is a great way to discover the Baltic's most popular cities. Plus, at £749 per person, it's up to £200 cheaper than we found elsewhere.
Guests will depart from Dover aboard Carnival Legend on 21 June; 3, 15, 27 July; and 8 August, meaning long days and warmer weather. The price is based on accommodation in an Interior Stateroom and includes all meals and snacks, as well as free parking in Dover. Click here for more information.
Baltic cruises are "an inspiring and cultural alternative" to the Mediterranean, says cruise expert Douglas Ward. This itinerary certainly delivers on both counts with stops in some great cities. The ship first calls at Copenhagen (Denmark), a "friendly, stylish city with gorgeous food and architecture", according to The Guardian.
Carnival Legend continues on to Warnemünde (the starting point for excursions to Berlin**), Helsinki and St Petersburg, where the ship will stay in port overnight, giving more time to discover the city Cruise International calls the "jewel in the crown of Baltic voyages".
The last two ports of call are Tallinn (Estonia) and Amsterdam, before Carnival Legend sails back to Dover.
Part of Carnival Cruise Lines' fleet of Fun Ships, Carnival Legend has a large range of facilities with a spa, a fitness room, two outdoor pools (including one with a retractable roof), hot tubs, a show lounge and a nightclub.
