Cruise line details
Hurtigruten's Norwegian coastal voyages are different to traditional cruising. Their smaller ships enter fjords and straits that are simply too narrow and shallow for large cruise liners, and take you to small towns that rely on the ships' daily service. Being away from the glare of large cities also increases the chance of catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
"Hurtigruten itineraries are often described as 'the world's most beautiful', as they provide access to some of the most stunning scenery and the unique cultures of Norway," says Fodor's, describing the cruise as "an up-close look at the fascinatingly intricate fjords, mountains, and villages" of Norway.
Hurtigruten can add flights to this deal from £330 per person, based on London departures. There are also select departures available through January.
