The ship will stop in picturesque Hamburg for two days, giving passengers the chance to explore Germany's second-largest city and the place The Beatles launched their career in the 1960s. Today, there is a monument in Beatles Square to mark the importance of that area.

Local charges will apply for excursions but from the port town of Bremerhaven tours of nearby Bremen can easily be arranged. In Amsterdam, visit Anne Frank's house and the Museum Quarter, one of the city's most prestigious neighbourhoods, and see the artist Rubens' famous workshop** in Antwerp, before sailing along the Scheldt river in the afternoon.  

The intimate 1150-passenger Balmoral is named after the Royal Family's Scottish home and maintains a traditional British feel on board. This particular sailing is part of Fred.
