Update (12 April, 15:23): Please note that due to popular demand Cruise Nation are experiencing high call volumes, as a result there may be a short wait before your call is answered.
We rarely see cruises around the beautiful Norwegian fjords any cheaper than this: £379 per person for a week-long MSC cruise with a complimentary upgrade to an Outside Cabin (subject to availability) and free port parking in Southampton (worth £93). This saves over £460 on the usual package price.
MSC Opera sets sail from Southampton on 18 May. Ports of call include Ijmuiden, Flaam, Stavanger and Oslo, before returning to Southampton to dock. Writing in The Telegraph, cruise expert Douglas Ward says the Norwegian fjords are a haven for "nature and scenery lovers" with "picture-perfect fishing villages, dramatic rock formations and waterfalls".
Upgrade to all-inclusive board for £139 more per person. Balcony Cabins cost an extra £190 per person; however, availability is limited.
Alternatively, you can depart on 25 May for £949 per person, staying in a Suite.
The family-friendly MSC Opera comes with a show lounge, a nightclub, a casino, a spa and a good mix of bars and lounges, including the Cotton Club bar and a piano bar. Dining options include La Caravella restaurant, L'Approdo restaurant and the more casual Le Vele cafeteria and the outdoor Il Patio.
