Update (12 April; 11.43): Due to popular demand, the first allocation of Inside Cabins has already sold out. Outside cabins are still available for £389 per person. However, Ocean World Travel is working at securing more Inside Cabins.
When we first saw this deal from Ocean World Travel, we thought it was a mistake. A 9-night cruise around the UK and Ireland for £299 per person with all meals and snacks included? Too good to be true, surely. Well, it isn't. The offer is £100 cheaper than other prices on the market, and £700 off the brochure rate.
The deal includes nine nights' full-board accommodation onboard Braemar, a Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines ship, in an Inside Cabin. This no-fly deal departs from Dover on 22 May and is a great opportunity to discover some of the British Isles' most popular cities. Ports of call include Dublin (where the ship stays overnight), Belfast, Kirkwall (Orkney Islands) and Invergordon (Scotland), before the ship ends its journey in Dover.
Upgrade to an Outside Cabin for an extra £90 per person and to a Superior Outside Cabin for an extra £160 per person.
Having joined the Fred. Olsen fleet in 2001, Braemar received a complete facelift in 2008, which saw the addition of the Observatory Lounge, the Grampian Restaurant, a new swimming pool and the Morning Light, a Scottish-themed pub. The ship has a traditional feel with formal dinner at the two restaurants -- Thistle and the Grampian -- and an extensive programme of talks by guest speakers. Facilities include gaming tables, a nightclub, two Jacuzzis, a fitness centre, a beauty salon and a library. Click here for more information.
