A festive 5-night sailing to Germany and Belgium during Christmas-market season is now £295 per person -- the equivalent of £59 per night -- that's a saving of over £190.
The sailing is aboard Boudicca and departs from Southampton on 18 December.
After leaving port, guests will spend a day at sea, before arriving in Bremerhaven, close to the city of Bremen, in north Germany. Bremen's Christmas market hosts over 170 festive stalls selling handcrafted gifts, mulled wine and more. The ship stays in Bremerhaven for one night and then heads to Zeebrugge in Belgium.
From Zeebrugge, guests can easily visit Bruges, named one of Lonely Planet's top five Christmas-market cities. The city's cobbled streets and medieval city centre make the perfect backdrop for the market and open-air ice rink. There is also a Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival on Station Square.
The cruise finishes back in Southampton.
The price is based on two sharing a Superior Outside Cabin. Single Cabins are available for £349 each. Add an all-inclusive drinks package for £39 per person, per night (£195 in total).
Boudicca is a mid-sized ship with lots of open deck space, gaming tables, a cabaret lounge and a library. There are five dining options, including the formal Tintagel and Four Seasons, and the more casual Secret Garden Café. There are also two outdoor swimming pools, two Jacuzzis, a sauna and steam rooms, a shuffleboard court and golf practice nets. In January 2011, the ship underwent a refurbishment and now features a new gym with sea views.
