This deal from The Cruise Village marries a 4-star hotel stay in New York with a transatlantic cruise on Cunard's luxurious Queen Mary 2 for £979 per person. The full package saves £430 on the regular price and includes the following:
Flights depart from London Heathrow on 8 August. Travel on 24 July for £270 more and receive a free upgrade to a Balcony Stateroom.
After touching down in the Big Apple, guests will spend three nights at the boutique Carvi Hotel New York. The hotel is set in Midtown Manhattan, 15 minutes' walk from the Rockefeller Center and Central Park, and a 30-minute walk from Times Square. There are also two subway stations nearby.
Following the stay in New York, guests will board the Queen Mary 2 for a sailing across the Atlantic to Southampton, where the cruise ends.
Queen Mary 2 was the top-rated ship in the Large Resort Ship category in this year's Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships. The ship has a spa, the Royal Court Theatre and the Queens Room, which is the largest ballroom at sea.
Overseas transfers from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the port are not included in the price. Private transfers can be added for £74 per person, or you can take local taxis for approximately £26 (US$40) per person.
