Iglu Cruise has released a transatlantic sailing on Cunard's Queen Victoria, with a free upgrade to a Balcony Stateroom, for £499 per person -- that works out at £62 per night for eight nights aboard a 5-star ship. This package regularly costs up to £1799.
Queen Victoria sets sail from Southampton for New York on 10 January, 2013. A return overnight flight from New York to London Heathrow, airport transfers and all meals and snacks are also included in the price. Click here for more information.
The ship has a choice of seven dining options and 10 bars, plus two swimming pools and four whirlpools, a spa and fitness centre, shops, a casino and a theatre. CruiseCritic.co.uk says: "The ship is large enough to feature plenty of space, but also cosy enough to foster a sense of intimacy, and is actually the most beautiful ship Cunard has built."
If you want to explore more of the Big Apple or pick up some bargains in the January sales, you can add a 2-night stay at the centrally located Holiday Inn New York City-Midtown-57th Street for an extra £199 per person. Click here for more information.
The price is based on two people sharing on a full-board basis.
