The tour kicks off in Chicago with two nights at the Embassy Suites Hotel Chicago Downtown. From here, you'll board the Amtrak Empire Builder train, where you will have a private room and all of your meals included.
You'll then travel through Minnesota, North Dakota and the Rocky Mountains, before arriving in Seattle to views of "ocean, cedars, distant mountains" and "soaring eagles" (The Daily Telegraph).
