Cruise Circle has taken £700 off a cruise through the Panama Canal ("the world’s greatest shortcut" according to Lonely Planet), and a New York City stay -- the price is now £1299 per person.
Guests will fly from London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic to New York for a 1-night, pre-cruise stay at a centrally located Manhattan hotel such as the Amsterdam Court (or similar). The following day, NCL's Norwegian Jewel departs for the 17-night voyage, sailing to Miami, Cartegena (Colombia), through the Panama canal, Puntarenas (Costa Rica) and on to four Mexican ports -- Puerto Chiapas, Huatulco, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas (pictured) -- before finishing in Los Angeles, where guests will catch the flight back to London Heathrow.
