easyJet has launched a new route from London Gatwick to Bergen. From £61 per person, return, fly direct to Norway's second-largest city, where you'll find a harbour on UNESCO's World Heritage List, preserved wooden buildings and easy access to the country's spectacular fjords. This is up to 56% cheaper than the lowest fares we could find with other carriers flying to the city.

We found fares at this rate on select dates throughout the year.

As well as exploring the Bryggen harbour, where the city's first buildings were erected in the 11th century, visitors can hike in the surrounding mountains and take a day trip to the Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway, at 204km long. Visit before 25 August to take in a performance at the Grieg in Bergen festival, celebrating local composer Edvard Grieg.

Fares include all taxes and airport fees, but exclude checked baggage.

Restrictions may apply. Subject to availability. Fares include an administration fee, all taxes and airport fees. No charge for debit card payments. Payments made using Visa credit cards, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, or UATP/AirPlus will incur a transaction fee of 2.5% of the total value of the flight and/or name changes.
